Da, tako ih zovu I u USA, I u svim zvanicnim dokumentima. Cak neke zovu WS, kao sto je Fuentes. Otkrio si toplu vodu, da ima Latinosa i Hispanic koji su beli... 😀 i mene cesto zovu Hispanic, jer izgledam i ime zvuci kao white Hispanic.

Danas se devojka u kafeu ispricala na Spanskom dok joj nisam objasnila da nista nisam razumela. 

Otkrio si da mozes biti beo i Hispanic. Uvek nesto novo naucis.

Pise na wikipediji zato sto je to realnost. To sto ti nisi znao da postoje white i non-white Hispanics je tvoj problem. Isto kao I tvoje shvatanje da su beli amerikanci rasisti, pa samo razmisljaju o tome da li je neko beo ili ne 😀 ima onih koji sve gledaju kroz rasu, u svim grupama, ali najcesce nikog nije briga.

President Donald Trump made a series of false claims during his prime-time address from the White House on Wednesday night, most of which have been debunked before.

 

Trump falsely claimed, “Inflation is stopped.” Inflation hasn’t stopped; the most recent available year-over-year inflation rate at the time he spoke on Wednesday, 3.0% in September, was the same as the rate when Trump returned to office in January .

 

 After noting that the price of eggs has plummeted since March, Trump added, “And everything else is falling rapidly.” That is not true even if he was talking specifically about grocery prices, which are up this year. Consumer Price Index data shows that a far greater number of grocery items have increased in price since he returned to office than have decreased.

 

Trump repeated his false claim that an executive order he issued on prescription drug prices will cut those prices by “as much as 400, 500, and even 600%.” These figures are mathematically impossible.

 

Trump said, “Gasoline is now under $2.50 a gallon in much of the country.

As of Wednesday, there were only four states whose average price for a gallon of regular gas was below $2.50, according to data published by AAA. The AAA national average was $2.905 per gallon.

 

Trump repeated his false claim that there has been “$18 trillion” in investment in the US during his second presidency, saying Wednesday, “I’ve secured a record-breaking $18 trillion of investment into the United States.” This figure is fiction. At the time he spoke on Wednesday, the White House’s own website said the figure was “$9.6 trillion,” and even that is a major exaggeration; a detailed CNN review in October found the White House was counting trillions of dollars in vague investment pledges, pledges that were about “bilateral trade” or “economic exchange” rather than investment in the US.

 

Trump repeated his false claim that he has ended eight wars this year, saying Wednesday, “I’ve restored American strength, settled eight wars in 10 months.” While Trump has played a role in resolving some conflicts (at least temporarily), the “eight” figure is a clear exaggeration.

Trump has previously explained that his list of supposed wars settled includes a war between Egypt and Ethiopia, but that wasn’t actually a war; it is a long-running diplomatic dispute about a major Ethiopian dam project on a tributary of the Nile River. Trump’s list includes another supposed war that didn’t actually occur during his presidency, between Serbia and Kosovo. And his list includes a supposed success in ending a war involving the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, but that war has continued despite a peace agreement brokered by the Trump administration this year – which was never signed by the leading rebel coalition doing the fighting.

Trump’s list also includes an armed conflict between Thailand and Cambodia, where fighting erupted again this month and continued into this week despite a peace agreement brokered by the Trump administration earlier in the year.

 

Trump repeated his false claim that “25 million” migrants entered the country under Biden. The “25 million” figure is false; even Trump’s previous “21 million” figure was a wild exaggeration. Through December 2024, the last full month under the Biden administration, the federal government had recorded under 11 million nationwide “encounters” with migrants during that administration, including millions who were rapidly expelled from the country. 

 

Trump repeated his false claim that the big domestic policy bill he signed earlier this year includes “no tax on Social Security.” 

 

Trump falsely claimed that, under Biden, there was “crime at record levels, with law enforcement and words such as that just absolutely forbidden.” Neither of these two claims is true.

Kennedy Center board votes to rename it ‘Trump Kennedy Center’

 

The board of trustees of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts voted Thursday to rename the facility after both the former president and President Donald Trump.

“The Kennedy Center Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to name the institution The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts,” center spokeswoman Roma Daravi said in a statement.

“The unanimous vote recognizes that the current Chairman saved the institution from financial ruin and physical destruction. The new Trump Kennedy Center reflects the unequivocal bipartisan support for America’s cultural center for generations to come,” she added.

The vote took place during a board meeting, according to a source familiar with the matter, during which Trump called in.

The president, who was elected chair by a newly constituted board in February, has frequently joked about calling the performing arts center the “Trump Kennedy Center,” and it appears his handpicked board has approved his wishes.

 

At an Oval Office event Thursday afternoon, the president said he was honored and surprised by the decision.

“I was honored by this. The board is a very distinguished board, most distinguished people in the country. And I was surprised by it,” Trump said. “This was brought up by one of the very distinguished board members, and they voted on it, and there’s a lot of board members, and they voted unanimously.”

 

Democratic Rep. Joyce Beatty, an ex-officio member of the board, said the vote was “not unanimous.”

“I was on that call and as I tried to push my button to voice my concern, to ask questions, and certainly not to vote in support of this, I was muted. Each time I tried to speak, I was muted,” she said in a video posted to X.

 

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt congratulated the president in a post on social media, writing, “The building will no doubt attain new levels of success and grandeur.”

Biće korisno za SAD da demokrate preuzmu kongres i senat i da se smanji na minimum šteta koju ovaj radi.

 

U Trampovu ekonomsku politiku veruje 36% amera, sjajan rezultat, dok dođemo do godišnjice možda padne i ispod 30% 🙂

Western Balkans Democracy and Prosperity Act, zasigurno ubedljivo najjača opomena za vlast u Srbiji od 2012. godine do danas od bilo koga u svetu, jer srpskim vlastima koje su jedine izdvojene u dokumentu kao loši likovi, eksplicitno preti sankcijama u formi zakona koji obavezuje Kongres. Samo još fali da kažu: mi da smo organizovali proteste, već bi sve bilo gotovo, što ne znači da nećemo u budućnosti.

 

Pri tome, akt je usvojen dvopartijski, sa 197 republikanaca i 115 demokrata "za", jer bez tog dvopartizma ne bi ni prošao glasanje.
