Pre tacno 23 godine, 31.10.1999. godine, poginuo je Greg Moore, na stazi Fontana, tokom finalne trke C.A.R.T sampionata 1999 godine. Bio je moj heroj i omiljeni vozac. Ali ne samo moj. Voleli su ga mnogi, sto je bilo jasno kako tokom njegove, nazalost, kratke karijere, tako i nakon njegove prerane smrti. Postoje mnogo tribute snimaka o Gregu, a ja sam danas odlucio da vam postavim ovaj u kojem nas kroz pricu vodi kolega James Hintchcliffe. Mnogo je uspeha i titula bilo pred ovim momkom, ja sam secam se prvi put zaplakao nakon pogibije Sene na Imoli 1994. godine, i iako je toga dana sampion postao moj buduci heroj Juan Pablo Montoya, pobedivsi Daria Franchittia samo zbog veceg broja pobeda u sezoni, na taj dan niko nije slavio, niko nije bio srecan. Ostala je velika praznina iza coveka koji bi, ja verujem, u narednim godinama bio jedan od sampiona Forumule 1. Bas pred ovu tragicnu trku, Greg je potpisao ugovor sa Rogerom Penske-om. Zelim da iskoristim ovu priliku da napisem da heroji nikada ne umiru, a da njihova dela inspirisu buduce narastaje da urade taj dodatan korak ka savrsenstvu. Rodjen 1955, nakon karijere u nizim kategorijama koja mu je donela titulu nacionalnog sampiona francuske F3 i pobedu u klasi / drugo mesto u ukupnom poretku na 24h Lemana, debituje za Reno u F1 na poslednjoj trci sezone 1984. Naredne godine paralelno vozi F3000 uz par nastupa u F1 za Lizje i Tirel (uzima trece mesto na VN Australije, ispostavice se njegov najbolji rezultat F1 karijere). Naredne dve godine vozi za Tirel bez znacajnijih rezultata (istini za volju, nisu ih imali ni timske mu kolege Martin Brandl i Dzonatan Palmer) a zatim prelazi u slabasni AGS, tim sa budzetom samo za jedan bolid a i taj jedan se raspadao - 10 odustajanja zbog kvarova u 16 trka. Karijera mu je iznenadno i tragicno zavrsena 1989. teskim udesom na predsezonskim testovima na Zakaperagvi u Brazilu nakon koje je ostao nepokretan i vezan za invalidska kolica. Uprkos tome, ostao je u auto-sportu organizujuci tokom 90-tih godina proslog veka cuvene karting trke u dvorani Bersi u Parizu uz ucesce svih najvecih zvezda tadasnjeg auto-sporta - Sene, Prosta, Sumahera, Zaka Vilneva, Zanardija, veterana poput Marija Andretija, Dzodija Sektera, Mika Duana i buducih zvezda Darija Frankitija, Tonija Kanana, Fernanda Alonsa... 1994. je uz podrsku Frenka Vilijamsa pokusao da preuzme F1 tim Lizje s planom da ga pretvori u Vilijamsov B-tim ali im ovo nije uspelo. Samo par godina kasnije Lizje je prodat Alanu Prostu.
