3 trke do kraja sezone 2019 svetskog sampionata F1 i prakticno je sve reseno - Hamiltonu treba jos samo 4 boda da osvoji svoju sestu titulu, a ako je kojim cudom ne osvoji on samo jos njegov timski kolega Botas ima sanse i to samo u slucaju da na sve tri preostale trke pobedi. Dakle cestitke Hamiltonu.

Cestitke i Mercedesu koji je obezbedio 6 uzastopnih "duplih kruna", nesto sto ni jednom timu do sada njije poslo za rukom (ili tockom, stagod). Oni su na prosloj trci u Meksiku osvojili svoju 100. timsku pobedu u istoriji i sada su na cetvrtom mesti iza Ferarija, Meklarena i Vilijamsa ali uz neverovatan procenat pobeda u ukupnim startovima od 48,3% (jedino je Bron - koji je inace postao Mercedes - za svoji jednu jedinu sezonu u kojoj je osvojio titulu dosao blizu ovakvom procentu sa 47,1%). Apsolutno neverovatna dominacija!

 

S obzirom da je preostali deo sezone prakticno samo revijalnog karaktera, ostaje nam da se nadamo da ce makar trke biti uzbudljive i pune akcije. Barem Ostin i Interlagos umeju da pruze dobru zabavu, ako je vec Jabadabudabi obicno smor.

 

Staza u Ostinu iako tipican Tilkedrom spada medju njegove uspelije kreacije. To je najvise zahvaljujuci jedinstvenoj krivini 1 nakon ludacke uzbrdice na pravcu start-cilj koja pruza mogucnost vise linija prakticno bez kakve razlike u vremenu ili izlaznoj brzini, sto znaci da ovde vozaci mogu da budu kreativni i da pokusaju da iznenade sa nekim neocekivanim pokusajem preticanja. Krivina 7 na kraju najduzeg pravca na stazi takodje pruza priliku da vidimo akciju na kocenju. Po karakteru staza mozda ponajvise lici na Silverston po tome da se na njij smenjuju brze i tehnicke deonice pa je zbog toga prilicno tesko potrefiti dobar setap jer je neophodno pronaci kompromis koji svuda funkcionise ~dovoljno dobro~, pri cemu ono sto fercera odlicno u jednom sektoru staze u drugom je potpuno neupotrebljivo i obrnuto. Ako je ista zameriti dizajnu staze to je tipicna Tilekovska sirina i ogromne asfaltirane zone za izletanje, prakticno je nemoguce ovde promasiti krivinu i izgubiti vreme, nedajboze poziciju. Ali to je realnost danasnjeg modernog dizajna staza za F1.

 

Ovo ce biti osmi put da se ovde vozi trka za VN SAD (ukupno 49. VN SAD put ukljucujuci tu i predratne trke), a ukupno 70. trka na teritoriji SAD koja se boduje za sampionat sveta. Apsolutni kralj Ostina je Luis Hamilton sa 5 pobeda (samo su jos Fetel i Kimi pobedjivali ovde) od cega 4 puta u Mercedesu (po jedna pobeda za RBR, Meklaren i Ferari). Hamilton drzi i rekord kruga postavljen prosle godine sa 1:37.392.

Sergio Perez described the bumps at Circuit of the Americas as “totally unacceptable” after Friday practice at the United States Grand Prix.

Carlos Sainz suffered a high-speed spin in the first sector during FP1, which was followed by a similar incident for Romain Grosjean that resulted in the Haas driver hitting the wall and causing a red flag on Friday afternoon. A number of drivers referenced the bumps during the two sessions, and Perez says the track conditions are not up to standard.

“You’ve seen some drivers going off in very high speed and it’s due to the bumps, so I think that’s totally unacceptable,” Perez said. “It is quite a big concern, and I think we’re going to see some people struggling with it where if you get it wrong you’re basically going to go straight into the wall at very high speed. If you try do an overtake you can hit very hard with the car, so I think it’s going to be a topic this weekend.

“I think today we are over the limit. We have seen some incidents due to the bumps, and I think that’s just not acceptable. In the race I don’t know, but I expect to see some people crashing out when the [tire] deg starts to kick in and all of a sudden you get a bump at the wrong angle and you just go straight into the wall. So yeah, it’s quite bad.

“I’m not an expert but I would think there’s not a lot to do for tomorrow or Sunday. I don’t know. It’s really bad… Every year it tends to get worse and worse but today it’s over the limit, I think.”

Sergio Perez will start the United States Grand Prix from the pits after the stewards ruled he failed to stop at the weigh bridge when instructed to during second practice.

 

Perez was told to perform a pit stop when he pitted at the end of second practice. When he came into the pits he was shown the red light and signal indicating he should stop at the weighbridge, but drove past it.

 

His race engineer pointed out his error, and told him to return to the team’s garage but not to pull into the pit bay. However Perez did so, and the crew replaced his tyres. After this he was pushed back to the weighbridge.

 

The stewards ruled Perez “failed to stop for weighing when required to do so. Instead, he drove on and proceeded to do a pit stop where the car was worked on by lifting the car and all four wheels were changed, in breach of Article 29.1 (a).

 

“The penalty imposed is a mandatory penalty specified under the Formula 1 Sporting Regulations and the stewards note that they have no discretion to impose an alternative penalty.”

Samo dokazuje koliko je Meklaren fejlovo s onom šasijom, neverovatno je koliko su brzo rešili probleme te ih aplicirali na vreme. A to se lepo odrazilo na vremena krugova u pozitivnom smislu.

 

Baj d vej, startni grid je vrlo interesantnan. Biće uzbudljiva trka.
