Radoye
https://www.racefans.net/2024/05/03/fia-asked-to-grant-early-f1-debut-for-antonelli-before-18th-birthday/ Quote The FIA has been asked to allow Mercedes junior driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli to make his Formula 1 debut before he turns 18. The Formula 2 driver has been tipped for a seat at Mercedes next year when the team needs to replace Lewis Hamilton. Antonelli’s four wins in different championships over the last two years mean he has already more than fulfilled the requirement to score at least 40 FIA superlicence points to qualify to race in F1. However the FIA International Sporting Code states a driver “must be at least 18 years old at the start of the event of his first F1 competition.” Antonelli will not turn 18 until August 25th, the day of the Dutch Grand Prix, and therefore could not enter a competition until the following round at Monza in Italy. Hoce da ga stave u Vilijams umesto Sarzdenta vec ove godine cim mu FIA da dozvolu.

They need to be protected.”

Radoye
https://racer.com/2024/05/05/magnussen-nearing-race-ban-after-latest-miami-gp-penalty/ Quote Kevin Magnussen is on the verge of a race ban after picking up another penalty in the Miami Grand Prix. Saturday’s sprint race saw Magnussen pick up three penalty points for repeat offenses when fighting with Lewis Hamilton, having already earned a time penalty that was going to drop him out of the top eight. Then on Sunday, Magnussen was deemed to be wholly to blame for causing a collision with Logan Sargeant, sending the Williams out of the race, and earning another two penalty points. The penalties over the Miami weekend lead to five points, and with Magnussen also earning five across incidents in Saudi Arabia and China — for colliding with Yuki Tsunoda on each occasion — he is now on 10 penalty points since early March. Two further points between now and 9 March 2025 — the date one year from the first incident — would trigger an automatic one-race ban for the Haas driver. Radoye
FOM prijavljuje rekordne prihode, porast od 45% u odnosu na isti period prosle godine (doduse, i uz jednu trku vise):https://racer.com/2024/05/08/f1-revenues-up-45-exceed-500m-in-q1/ Quote Liberty Media’s financial results have shown that Formula 1 revenue increased by 45% to over half a billion dollars in Q1 compared to the same period last year. The increase is driven in part by the difference in the calendars, with 2023 featuring just two races in the opening quarter of the year, while this season there was an extra round that fell in Q1 as Australia took place on March 24. Compared to last year’s figure of $381 million in revenue for the first quarter, Liberty has announced the Formula One Group generated $553m this year. Takodje, ovogodisnja trka u Majamiju je najgledanija F1 trka u istoriji na americkoj TV:https://racer.com/2024/05/07/miami-draws-record-tv-audience-for-f1-in-the-united-states/ Quote A record United States television audience for a Formula 1 race tuned in to watch Lando Norris’ maiden victory in the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday. ESPN has announced that the race on ABC drew an average of 3.1 million viewers for the grand prix, with viewership peaking at 3.6 million. That race-only average was comfortably more than the previous record of 2.6 million set by the inaugural Miami Grand Prix on the same channel in 2022. With last year’s grand prix also attracting a 2.1 million average, Miami can boast the top three live US television audiences for races in F1 history.

The FIA said in a statement that Robyn had left “by mutual agreement to pursue opportunities outside of the FIA”. Robyn, who will leave her role at the end of May, is the fourth senior executive to move on from the FIA since December last year. Her departure follows the resignations of sporting director Steve Nielsen, single-seater technical director Tim Goss and head of the commission for women Deborah Mayer. alberto.ascari
According to Sky Sport Italy, Adrian Newey's switch to Ferrari is set to be confirmed. This comes after Red Bull announced his departure from the team in 2025, sparking immediate speculation about his next destination. Red Bull team principal Christian Horner stated that Newey's access has been restricted, and he will focus solely on the RB17 hypercar project for the remainder of his contract. While Newey has not officially announced his next move, reports suggest that Ferrari is the frontrunner for his talents. Journalist Carlo Vanzini wrote: "The official announcement is missing, but for Adrian Newey all roads lead to Maranello.” 1
Radoye
Jos podrske za Sultana Velicanstvenog: Quote The FIA has published a fourth letter from a group of automobile clubs pledging support for president Mohammed Ben Sulayem after he was cleared of alleged interference during two rounds of last year’s Formula 1 world championship. The letter, dated April 24th, was signed by the FIA’s vice-president for sport for the Asia Pacific Region and representatives of 23 member clubs. It called the allegations “unsubstantiated” and assured the president of the signatories’ support. “Your unique perspective and mindset are truly an asset to the organisation and it’s one of the reasons you rise to the top,” it added. Similar letters from 27 members clubs in the Middle East and North Africa, 33 in North and South America and 13 in Europe have previously been published by the FIA, which represents 242 clubs worldwide. https://www.fia.com/news/letter-fia-members-sport-asia-pacific-region
