Radoye
Quote Williams' 2019 car is not only slow, it was also "pretty uncontrollable" in Baku. That is the view of an increasingly forthright Robert Kubica as the British team's woes continue this season. He crashed in qualifying and calls the Mercedes-powered car "very uncomfortable to race in". "I almost drove into the wall at the start, because the car was pretty uncontrollable when braking," said Kubica, who before 2019 had not raced in F1 for eight years due to his permanent arm injury. "It's a miracle that I finished the race with so little grip," he is quoted by Algemeen Dagblad newspaper. "The team has to work hard to solve the problems with this car."
DASUBO

Radoye
Quote Paddy Lowe’s departure from Williams has finally been confirmed; the former chief technical officer stepping down from the board of directors with immediate effect. Williams announced Lowe was taking a leave of absence on March 5 following the late arrival of the team’s 2019 car, which did not appear until the third day of testing. Once the FW42 did arrive, it proved to be the slowest on the grid, and Williams remains at the bottom of the constructors’ championship and is yet to score in the opening eight races. A statement on Tuesday morning confirmed Lowe, who joined the team from Mercedes at the start of 2017, will not be returning. “After a period of careful reflection I have reached the decision that I will not return to work at Williams,” Lowe said. “I wish all my previous colleagues the very best to meet the challenges ahead, which I am sure they will do. I would especially like to thank the Williams fans who are so supportive.” Deputy team principal Claire Williams added: “We understand and respect the decision Paddy has reached and wish him well for the future.” Lowe was at Mercedes from 2013, playing a role in the three consecutive championship doubles from 2014-16 before moving to Williams, where he started his F1 career. He has also had a successful 20-year spell at McLaren, winning championships with Mika Hakkinen and Lewis Hamilton.

MetalHead
Radoye
Cestitke, o mrski nam neprijatelji! 😛 1. Badoer? 2. Nemam pojma.

Radoye
Quote Williams has announced its financial results for the first half of 2019, with the Formula 1 side of its group posting a loss of over $20 million. 😮
MetalHead
Danas (VN Singapura) smo videli prvo odustajanje Williams-a ove sezone, a i to zbog Grozanovog bacanja Rasela u zid...
Wheel banging krece jos pre turn-in point-a... Radoye
Quote Williams sponsor PKN Orlen wants answers from the team over why it pulled Robert Kubica’s car out of Sunday’s Russian Grand Prix. The team said following the race it parked Kubica’s car on the 29th lap of the 53-lap race in order to conserve parts for future races. “We opted to retire Robert soon afterwards in order to conserve parts ahead of the intense flyaway races which end the season,” said senior race engineer Dave Robson. In a statement released to the media, the Polish petrochemicals company said it has “officially asked the Rokit Williams Racing team for clarification” on why Kubica was pulled out of the race. A Williams spokesperson declined to comment on the matter. Williams suffered a shortage of parts during the opening races of the season having made a late start to testing due to delays completing its first FW42 chassis. Kubica announced during the Singapore Grand Prix he will leave Williams at the end of the year.
