  2. bbc The UK, France and Germany have announced fresh sanctions on Iran for supplying Russia with ballistic missiles for use in Ukraine, including restrictions on Iran Air's ability to fly to the UK and Europe. Also among the new measures, which have been announced as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken visits London, are travel bans on a number of Iranian military officials. Mr Blinken said Russians had been trained by Iranian forces to use short-range missiles and they could be deployed against Ukrainians within weeks. His host, UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy, said the Iranian deliveries marked a "dangerous escalation" which had allowed Russia to "fuel its illegal invasion of Ukraine". Speaking earlier, alongside Mr Lammy at a news conference in London, Mr Blinken said Russian President Vladimir Putin was "increasingly relying on support" for Iran and North Korea to help "wage his war of aggression on Ukraine". In a statement, the UK, France and Germany - known as the E3 - called on Iran "to immediately cease all support to Russia’s war against Ukraine and halt the development and transfers of its ballistic missiles". They added that Iran's supply of missiles represented a "a direct threat to European security".
  3. Reportaza iz Pokrovska bbc This city is clearly Moscow’s top priority. According to Serhiy Dobryak, the head of Pokrovsk’s military administration, the ratio of forces fighting in that direction is 10 to one in Russia’s favour. During its latest attack, Russia hit a substation in Pokrovsk, leaving half the city without power. The strikes also disrupted water supplies. The city is quickly becoming deserted. Just two months ago, 48,000 people were still living here. Today half of them have already left. The bustling downtown with shops and supermarkets is eerily quiet. Banks, supermarkets and most cafes are closed. The hospital has been evacuated. Outside the city, excavators are digging new trenches in the fields. 5.
Pozitivno poslovanje.
Uzivaj!
  9. bbc Russia has made sweeping advances in recent days that threaten to outweigh the gains made by Ukraine in its cross-border attack into the Kursk region. Russian forces are just a few kilometres from the Ukrainian city of Pokrovsk, a crucial logistics hub used by the Ukrainian military. Home to a key railway station and major roads, Pokrovsk is an essential supply and reinforcement point for Ukraine’s troops on the eastern front line. On a visit to the front line, Ukraine's armed forces chief Gen Oleksandr Syrskyi said Russia was throwing “everything that can move” into its assault. “The situation is extremely difficult,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky conceded on Wednesday. “If we lose Pokrovsk,” military expert Mykhaylo Zhyrokhov warned, “the entire front line will crumble." Avdiivka, which is about 40km (25 miles) south-east of Pokrovsk, was seen as a fortress that protected the settlements and roads to its west - helping to bolster Ukraine’s presence along the entire frontline. When it finally fell, Avdiivka was left in ruins. It was a serious loss for Ukraine. It meant that Russia could move its focus to Pokrovsk and the key hilltop town of Chasiv Yar, which overlooks some of the important cities in Donetsk still under Ukrainian control.
  10. bbc Russia is withdrawing 100 of its paramilitary officers from Burkina Faso to help in the war in Ukraine. They are part of about 300 soldiers from the Bear Brigade - a Russian private military company - who arrived in the West African nation in May to support the country's military junta. On its Telegram channel, the group said its forces would return home to support Russia’s defence against Ukraine’s recent offensive in the Kursk region.

  13. bbc Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said his troops' incursion into Russia's Kursk region is part of a "victory plan" that he will present to US President Joe Biden next month. Speaking at a forum on Tuesday, President Zelensky said the success of the plan would depend on President Biden and on whether the US would give Ukraine "what is in this plan or not, [and] whether we will be free to use this plan, or not". "It may sound too ambitious for some, but it is an important plan for us," he added, saying that he would also show the plan to both US presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. President Zelensky also revealed that Ukraine had recently carried out the first successful test of a domestically-produced ballistic missile. He congratulated his country's defence industry, but declined to share any more details of the missile. President Zelensky said that Ukraine had used some newly arrived F-16 fighter jets sent by Western countries in order to intercept some of the missiles fired by Russia in recent days - but that the country would need more jets.
  14. Volodymyr Zelensky "We will undoubtedly respond to Russia for this and all other attacks. Crimes against humanity cannot go unpunished," Zelensky adds in a post on social media.
  15. bbc Russia has targeted Ukraine with another wave of strikes, a day after one of its biggest air attacks of the war. Air raid alerts were issued early on Tuesday, as Ukrainian monitors detected Russian aircraft launching hypersonic missiles. Mass drone attacks have also been reported. Ukraine's air defence forces say the whole country is under threat of a ballistic weapon attack.

  17. Kad je rec o pregovorima bbc Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov tells reporters that the "topic of negotiations with Ukraine has pretty much lost its relevance". He also says Russia is responding to Ukraine's recent incursion into the Kursk region.
  18. bbc Ukraine's president Volodymr Zelensky has just issued an update, in which he says that more than 100 missiles and about 100 attack drones were launched by Russia overnight. He says that the primary target was "critical civilian infrastructure" in most of Ukraine's regions, citing attacks on Kharkiv, Kyiv, Odesa and western areas. In a post on Telegram, Zelensky adds that there has been a lot of damage to energy facilities, but says repair work is underway and repair crews will "work around the clock" to restore power. He goes on to call on Western allies to send Ukraine to use long-range weapons and allow them to hit areas in Russia from which attacks are launched. --- Russian military sources have now confirmed that they used "high-precision weapons" to strike "important energy infrastructure" in Ukraine, according to the Interfax news agency.

  22. DW Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said he was "pleased" that India's Narendra Modi supported a "peaceful, just and swift" end to the war in Ukraine. "I am very pleased that the prime minister has reaffirmed his willingness to work personally for a peaceful, just and swift end to the war," Tusk said in Warsaw after talks with Modi.

  25. Cena gasa na svetskom trzistu je na pretpandemijskom nivou prakticno, i nema nikakvih najava da ce poskupeti any time soon, osim ako ne bude nekih nepredvidjenih okolnosti. Ni najava totalne obustave isporuke gasa preko Ukrajne nije dovela do porasta cena, naprotiv, i dalje padaju.
