Kostas razmislja o odbijanju nastupa za Ethniki ovoga leta.
"The national team for me is not a [matter of] decision. I've been an international player since I was 11. My father used to take me to games and put on a blue-and-white T-shirt. I understand what the national team means, it is very sad what has happened in the finals. The best thing for me is to fight for my country. I don't know... My disappointment is too big," he confessed.
Asked whether receiving an apology from those who he thinks have wronged him would change his mindset, Sloukas responded:
"I don't want any apologies. I don't need anything. I'm clean. Anyone who has chosen to do something else doesn't care at all. Everyone should be held accountable for their own actions."
