- Kalendar zakomplikovan olimpijadom jer NBC ima ekskluzivna prava i prenosice je na svim platformama pa za Indikar nema mesta. Zbog ovoga je Teksas ispao jer nisu mogli da nadju termin u kojem se ne sudaraju ili sa olimpijadom ili sa Naskarom.
- Povratak legendarnog Milvokija, najstarije staze u upotrebi na svetu (prve trke vozene 1903.), umesto jedne od dve VN Indijanapolisa. Vozice se kao dabl-heder u zamenu za Teksas koji se vraca 2025.

- "Trka" van sampionata na Termalu - navodno, treba da bude reklama za tamosnje bogatune da se neki od njih namami u Indikar kao sponzor ili suvlasnik nekog tima.

- Novo finale sezone u Nesvilu umesto na Laguni, na novoj konfiguraciji staze. Valjda ce biti bolja trka nego na staroj konfiguraciji?

I Sonoma i Laguna Seka su severna Kalifornija, smatraju da tamosnje trziste nije dovoljno jako za dve trke. Zadnjih par puta na Sonomi je poseta publike bila prilicno slaba pa su pre koju godinu presli na Lagunu.
 

Iz slicnih razloga dugo nije bilo Milvokija i Elkart Lejka zajedno. Evo sad ce pokusati pa videti da li u Viskonsinu ima dovoljno publike da obe trke budu isplative.

- Grozan zvanicno potvrdjen u Hunkosovom #77 koji je u protekloj sezoni vozio Kalum Ajlot. Ovaj bolid bi prema nekm vestima trebalo da ima tehnicku i finansijsku podrsku Meklarena tako da ce biti interesantno videti kako ce sve ovo da funkcionise - moze biti jako dobro, a moze biti i totalni raspad s obzirom da su i Grozan sa Andretijem i Hunkos sa Ajlotom raskinuli dosadasnju saradnju zbog problema sa medjuljudskim odnosima (citaj: raspada komunikacije izmedju vozaca i tima i drame na drustvenim mrezama i u medijima)...

Chevrolet, the defending Manufacturers’ champion, has 12 full-timers on the books for 2024, and Honda Performance Development, winners of the Drivers’ title with Alex Palou, is currently preparing to support 15.

 

It means the same 12/15 share of the field and the same total count of 27 cars is expected to be carried over from last season. The only numerical changes within the 27 entries come from Honda’s camp, with Andretti trimming from four cars to three and Ganassi growing from four cars to five.

The IndyCar game from Motorsport Games is officially dead. An SEC filing from November 8, that was made public on November 14 confirms that the racing organization is terminating its two licensing agreements with the Miami-based developer.

 

“INDYCAR LLC stated that its decision to terminate the INDYCAR License Agreements was due to the Company’s alleged failure to satisfy certain of its obligations under the INDYCAR License Agreements, including making INDYCAR racing series video gaming products available in the United States and facilitating a minimum number of INDYCAR racing series esports events, in each case, as specified in the applicable INDYCAR License Agreement,” the filing reads.

Hm, mislio sam da sam pisao o ovome? Da, kompanija je bankrotirala i Indikar je raskinuo ugovor. Kao sto im je bilo govoreno, kad se petljas sa nepouzdanim partnerima rezultati nikad ne budu kakve zelis. Par miliona dolara kasnije i Indikar je naucio tu lekciju.

(No, ima tu jos - po pisanju Marsala Prueta, u Indikarovom bordu direktora sedi neko kome je u licnom finansijskom interesu bilo da bas ova kompanija dobije ugovor za razvoj igre - sto objasnjava dosta toga, a nadam se da ce doticna osoba saznati koliko kosta kada pokusas da nasankas Rodzera Penskija,,,)

Nedavno je neko pitao za status sudjenja izmedju Meklarena i Palua, evo svezih vesti:

Ukratko - prema sudskim dokumentima koji su stavljeni na uvid Palu je priznao da je namerno prekrsio ugovor jer je "izgubio poverenje u Meklarenove namere da mu obezbede mesto u F1" i zbog toga je odlucio da ako ostaje u Indikaru da to bude sa Ganasijem, i trenutno se sude samo oko nivoa odstete koju Palu treba da plati. Meklaren potrazuje 23 miliona americkih, na ime novca koji je Palu vec uzeo za potpis ugovora (400 hiljada), troskova F1 testova u bolidima i na simulatoru (3,5 miliona), izgubljenog sponzorstva u Indikaru koje je bilo uslovljeno Paluovim transferom u Meklaren (15,5 miliona od NTT i GM) i ostalih troskova plus kamate. 

Palu priznaje onih 400 hiljada dok za ostatak Meklarenovih potrazivanja kaze da su "spekulacije".

“The much-anticipated debut of the new power unit is expected to launch after the 108th Indianapolis 500, during the second half of the 2024 IndyCar Series season,” the series confirmed.

 

The call comes one year and one day after IndyCar announced it would be halting the introduction of its new 2.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engines in favor of continuing with its 2.2-liter motors and having Chevrolet and Ilmor Engineering, and Honda and Honda Performance Development, reassign their sizable new 2.4L motor creation budgets to designing and making new supercapacitor-based ERS units for 2024.
