Radoye Posted March 3 Author Share Posted March 3 (edited) Vezite se polecemo - narednog vikenda je na programu prva trka ovogodisnje Indikar sezone, tradicionalno na ulicno-aerodromskoj stazi u St. Pitu na Floridi. Staza u St. Pitu je tipicna ulica, uska, dzombasta, sa betonskim zidovima koji ne prastaju greske. Ono sto je izdvaja od ostalih je pravac start-cilj koji ide pistom lokalnog aerodroma, vodi na izuzetno siroku krivinu br.1 nakon koje se stvara efekat levka zbog cega je ovo mesto cesto popriste atraktivnih preticanja ali i spektakularnih udesa. - Sta znamo: Bolidi su u odnosu na proslu sezonu znacajno olaksani u ocekivanju da dobiju hibridne sisteme (stizu negde posle Indi 500) tako da ce verovatno pasti i rekord staze. - Sta ne znamo: Ko ce biti u bolidima #18 i #51 Dejl Kojn Rejsinga, ocekuju se povratnik u Indikar Dzek Harvi i IMSA veteran Kolin Braun ali jos nista nije zvanicno potvrdjeno. Takodje cekamo potvrdu ko ce menjati povredjenog Malukasa u Meklarenu #6 (verovatno Kalum Ajlot). Satnica vikenda OVDE (dodati 6 sati za srednjeevropsko). Radoye Posted March 18 Author Share Posted March 18 Ovog vikenda na redu je revijalna trka/dogadjaj na Termalu. U pitanju je ustvari test tokom kojeg ce se odrzati i serija trka (dve kvalifikacione na po 10 krugova koje ce odrediti 12 startera za finalnu trku na 20 krugova) gde ce se voziti ne za bodove vec za novcane nagrade. Termal je ekskluzivni klub za ultrabogatase ljubitelje brzih automobila u cijem sklopu je i trkacka staza. Ona nema potrebnu infrastrukturu za odrzavanje "pravih" trka (boksove sa neophodnom opremom, tribine itd) mada se govori o tome da se i to dovede u red ako ovaj dogadjaj ovakav kakav je uspesno zazivi. Na ovoj stazi (konfiguracija "Dve Palme" koju mozete videti gore) Indikar je poceo da testira prosle zime, uz vec uobicajeni Sebring. Constructed in a heat-based format that’s not too dissimilar from IndyCar’s knockout qualifying system, two 10-lap heats will be held Sunday morning, with 13 cars in one and 14 in the others, and from both heats, the top six finishers will advance to the 20-lap grand finale. Those 12 will race for 10 laps, pit for a 10-minute halftime during which their cars will be refueled and have setup changes made, and then they’ll do the last 10 laps to determine the finishing order and who gets the biggest payouts. As relatively simple as that sounds, there are significant questions as to how it will play out at the private road course located in the southern California desert.
