Dimitrija, zastitnika grada Soluna: Inace Dimitrije sine Mitre rodom iz Sremske Mitrovice je bio rimski vojnik koji je primio hriscanstvo, pa su ga za nagradu kolege bacile u bunar: Bunar se nalazi ispod crkve, pa se kroz nju dolazi do mjesta gdje je ovaj Sremac skoncao. Idemo dalje, Eleftherios Venizelos, liberal, reformator, modernista, premijer Grcke u 8 mandata, kazu da je uspio da izvuce Grcku iz krize za vrijeme svoje vlasti, valjda jedini Grk kojem je to ikada poslo za rukom Centar Soluna i centar Soluna, pogled na drugu stranu.
