Radoye Posted April 13 Author Share Posted April 13 Jedan od svetskih klasika i nakon Indi 500 najprestiznija trka na kalendaru Indikar sampionata, VN Long Bica se vozi od 1975. prvo kao F5000 trka, zatim kao VN SAD - Zapad na kalendaru svetskog sampionata F1 da bi od sezone 1984. potpala pod Indikar i tu i ostala. Samo jednom je preskocena, 2020. zbog koronavirusa. Za sve ovo vreme konfiguracija staze je dozivela mnoge promene ali u sustini je ostala ista - tipicna ulica nalik na Monako, uska, dzombasta, oivicena ogradama, sa par dugackih pravaca i jednom izuzetno sporom krivinom ukosnicom. Ovo je druga "prava" trka sezone, nakon ulicno-aerodromske u St. Pitu na Floridi koja se vozila jos pocetkom marta pre mecec ipo dana. U medjuvremenu svo gledali ...nesto... na Termalu sto se nije bodovalo za sampionat a sto nisam siguran da je bilo kome na svetu jasno tacno sta je trebalo da predstavlja. Uglavnom, na tabeli sampionata vodi Penskijevac Njugarden nakon apsolutne dominacije na Floridi dok je podjednako dominantan tokom dogadjaja na Termalu bio Ganasijevac Palu za cega nije nagradjen bodovima ali je uzeo novcanu nagradu. The idea for the new format was pitched by its drivers during its preseason meetings. At St. Petersburg, teams were given the first 20 minutes to run as they pleased with the 27 cars in attendance before pitting and after a five-minute pause, the remainder of the session split the field into alternating groups that ran for 10 minutes apiece. At Long Beach, 45 of the first 75 minutes will be open for the 27 entries to use as desired before a five-minute break will separate the field into two groups, where a 13-car cluster will have the track to themselves for 10 minutes before they pit and the other 14 drivers will get 10 minutes of their own to close the day. I on i Grozan su vozili brzi krug na kraju Q1 u svojoj grupi koji bi ih lagano prebacili u Q2 kad se Kanapino okrenuo i izazvao crvenu zastavu nakon koje nije bilo vremena da se vozi jos jedan krug. Radoye Posted April 22 Author Share Posted April 22 Nakon duge pauze izmedju prve dve trke u sampionatu (u kojoj se vozilo i nesto na Termalu ali niko ne ume da objasni tacno sta i zasto) raspored se zgusnjava pred Indi 500 pa tako vec ovog vikenda idemo na jednu od najlepsih modernih staza na svetu, Barber Motorsport Park kod Birmingema u Alabami. Iako sagradjena pocetkom ovog veka ova staza karakterom i okolinom priziva neka davno prosla vremena i dokazuje da je moguce pruziti vrhunsku bezbednost za ucesnike i gledaoce bez da se sve pretvori u betonirani parking po kojem su bojom iscrtane linije koje oznacavaju ivice staze. Zelenilo i prirodni okolis medju blagim brezuljcima su pravi melem za oci nakon svih tilkedroma na koje smo naviknuti. Na prvoj trci sezone izdominirali su Sevroleti i Njugarden, na drugoj Honde i Dikson (iako je Njugarden imao sanse za pobedu u finisu, da bi zavrsio tek cetvrti nakon kontroverznog kontakta sa Hertom) a ko ce pobediti na Barberu nemoguce je prognozirati. I u tome je draz trkanja u Indikaru, za razliku od F1 gde vec sada bez problema mozemo da podelimo titule u obe konkurencije. Aktuelni F2 sampion Teo Porser ce i ovde biti na raspolaganju Meklarenu za slucaj da Malukas ne bude spreman. Tim Penski je kaznjen zbog uocenih nepravilnosti sa PtP sistemom na njihovim bolidima tokom trke u St. Pitu - naime, oni su modifikovali softver koji omogucava direkciji trke da po potrebi deaktivira PtP na svim bolidima (u situacijama kod starta i restarta). Njugarden i Mekloklin su diskvalifikovani, Pauer kaznjen sa -10 bodova a tim novcano, Pato O'Vord proglasen za pobednika trke.
