With the 9 a.m. start coinciding with ambient temperatures just over 50 degrees, there were few takers among the 27 cars at the Spring Training event, but as the circuit warmed, a full field emerged where the reigning Indianapolis 500 winner posted a best lap of 1m38.4223s. Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Christian Lundgaard was fast once again, placing the No. 45 Honda in second (+0.1459s) ahead of another front-running driver in Andretti Autosport’s Kyle Kirkwood in third with the No. 27 Honda (+0.3662s). After the Honda trio, another quick driver from Thursday in Team Penske’s Will Power was first among the Chevy runners with his No. 12 entry (+0.4479s) and he had teammate Scott McLaughlin close behind in the No. 3 Chevy (+0.4829s) and Arrow McLaren’s Felix Rosenqvist rounding out the top six with the No. 7 Chevy (+0.5187s). Radoye Posted February 4, 2023 Author Share Posted February 4, 2023 Gotovi testovi, kombinovani rezultati: https://racer.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/85/2023/02/indycar-results-pcomb-p4-V2.pdf Ovo je jedini test sa svim ful tajm vozacima i timovima pre starta sezone za vikend 3.-5. marta u St. Pitu. Do tada ce timovi testirati pojedinacno, kako vec koji - neko ce sad, neko ce svoju alociranu kilometrazu da sacuva za kasnije tokom sezone. Oni koji se odluce da sada testiraju verovatno ce na Sebring, gde je dzombasta podloga najslicnija ulicnim stazama a s obzirom na geografsku blizinu sa St. Pitom i klimatski uslovi ce biti veoma slicni. S obzirom na vidjeno ovde Honde deluju odlicno, a takodje me je impresionirala i klincadija - nastupa jaka generacija, kad jednog dana veterani Dikson, Pauer, Kastroneves, Pazeno i ostali odluce da je vreme da okace volan o klin imace vise nego dostojne naslednike! The test is meant to take place in concert with other IndyCar teams as they use the outing to prepare for the upcoming Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg street race on March 3-5. Radoye Posted February 15, 2023 Author Share Posted February 15, 2023 - 27 bolida potvrdjeno za kompletnu sezonu, 32 za Indi 500 s tim sto se zna da ce 33. biti drugi D&R bolid samo cekamo potvrdu vozaca (glasine kazu ArSi Enerson). Moguc 34. bolid za zensku ekipu Pareta Autosport sa Pipom Man za volanom i sa Sevroletovim motorom pa da ponovo imamo dramu za kvalifikacije, ali jos traze tim otvoren za partnersku saradnju. Radoye Posted February 26, 2023 Author Share Posted February 26, 2023 Sledeceg vikenda kao i u F1 pocinje trkacka sezona i za Indikar sampionat. Vec tradicionalno prva trka je na ulicno-aerodromskoj stazi u St.Pitu na Floridi. Prvi put vozena 2023. u okviru CCWS sankcije, od 2005. VN St. Pita prelazi pod okrilje IRL i nakon ujedinjenja CCWS-IRL 2008. ostaje na kalendaru kao premijera sezone. Izuzetak su jedino bile dve sezone zahvacene pandemijom Covid-19 kad je 2020. ovde bilo finale sezone a 2021. je VN St. Pita bila druga trka nakon premijere na Barberu. Staza je prava ulicna, uska, dzombasta, sa betonskim zidovima koji kaznjavaju i najmanju gresku, ali i sa nekoliko dugackih pravaca koji omogucavaju preticanja. Pravac start-cilj ide duzinom piste lokalnog aerodroma i izuzetno je sirok sto u prve dve krivine stvara usko grlo gde su cesti incidenti. Staza je duga 2897m i ima 14 krivina a trka se vozi na duzinu od 100 krugova. Rekrod kruga postavijo je prosle godine Vil Pauer u Penski-Sevroletu, 59.3466s. Najvise pobeda medju vozacima ima Kastroneves (3), medju timovima Penski (11) a medju proizvodjacima Honda (10). Pobedu od prosle godine brani Penskijevac Skot Mekloklin. But the new approach to managing the clock for each round comes with an interesting caveat. IndyCar’s practice of giving drivers 10 minutes for the first two segments remains unchanged, but rather than continue the practice of having the race director start the 10-minute countdown clock from race control while cars sit on pit lane, the series will have the clock start once the first driver in each session takes to the track and comes around and crosses the alternate start/finish line.
